"The drop in battery life would be found even between 15% and 20% from the previous version of the operating system.
The blame would be the new JavaScript engine used by Safari to improve performance , which would increase energy consumption, but it is just simple instructions as the bug has been alleged by people who said they did not use either Safari or other applications in multitasking. According to the user on Waldo Nell1 official Apple forum, closing all applications iPhone would consume 4% of the battery in just 15 minutes, display is switched off, even claiming to have found that after upgrading a decrease of 20% of the battery in just 20 minutes.
Updated: Emi77 (we thank) alerted us in the comments what should be the way to remedy the problem on the iPhone / iPad / iPod:
Under Settings -> General -> Restrictions -> ; enable the restrictions (by entering a 4 digit code to remember!) -> enable the restriction of PING 'close' flag and the last two services (below) of GAME CENTER. Restart the device while holding down home button and off button (until the Apple logo appears). "
